Mr. Anup Singh

Mr. Anup Singh had a 42 year career with ITC and was on the Board for 13 years.  He was appointed to the Board of ITC as Executive Director in November 1997 and held overall responsibility of ITC’s FMCG businesses; Agribusinesses; Infotech; R&D; Environment Health and Safety and ITC’s Nepal subsidiary, SNPL.

He was a key player in the establishment of the Foods, Personal Care, and Wills Lifestyle businesses and transforming ITC to become a significant player in the FMCG sector.

He has been the President of the Indian Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata (2004), the President of the Bengal Chamber of Commerce, Kolkata (2009).

He has a B Tech(Hons) degree from IIT Kharagpur in Electrical Engineering

Prof. Vivek Singhal

Prof. Vivek Singhal completed his B.Tech degree in Electrical Engineering from IIT Delhi before moving to the US for his post graduate work. He was awarded both his MS in Electrical Engineering and his MBA from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor. He also obtained a Certificate in Liberal Arts from the University of Chicago

His work with for-profit organizations includes a dozen years as a line manager with progressively increasing responsibilities with three companies before becoming Executive Vice President, Growth and Administration with a Fortune 100 corporation.

He ended his corporate career to start the management consulting firm Strategic Business Management (SBM) in 1986.

He was the founding member of the India Development Coalition of America. Further, as Education Chair for the Pan Indian Institutes of Technology (IIT) 2009 Global Conference.

He also serves as a Director on the Board of the Product Development and Management Association. . He is also an Adjunct Professor and teaches classes in Critical Thinking, Ethics, Decision Making, Economics, Global Management and Finance.

Dr. S.D.Gupta

Dr. S. D. Gupta ,DIRECTOR, Indian Institute of Health Management Research (IIHMR) has obtained MD in Preventive & Social Medicine and PhD in Epidemiology from Johns Hopkins University. He is a public health expert with a distinguished academic and research career.

He has been awarded FAMS by the National Academy of Medical Science for his outstanding contribution in the field of public health. He is a fellow of Indian Association of Preventive & Social Medicine, and a long-term member of the International Epidemiological Association.

He has published several research papers and reports. He has been associated in various capacities with several national and international research and academic organizations.

He has chaired several scientific and other committees and served as temporary advisor to WHO Scientific Working Group on Research Information Management.

Dr. Rakesh  Tandon

Dr. Rakesh  Tandon ,is a renowned gastroenterologist of international repute. He is an Honorary Fellow of American Gastroenterological Association as well as of Royal College of Edinburgh and has been decorated with the most distinguished title of Master of World Gastroenterology Organization, London (2009).

He been a visiting Associate Professor of Harvard Medical School at Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Boston and a recipient of Humboldt fellowship of Germany and Europe Research Fellowship to Sweden. At the national level, he is a fellow of National Academy of Sciences, National Academy of Medical Sciences and Indian College of Physicians and has been the president of Indian Society of Gastroenterology, Indian Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutriton and Indian Pancreas Club.

He retired in 2003 from the prestigious position of Head of Gastroenterology, All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi after having served that institution for 31 years. He is now in active practice and is the Medical Director of Pushpawati Singhania Research Institute for Liver, Renal & Digestive Diseases, New Delhi.

He has been recognized as an outstanding teacher and researcher through numerous awards and orations from National Academies, Indian Council of Medical Research and Gastroenterology Societies, the most prestigious of them being Dr. B. C. Roy Award for Eminent Teacher in 2000 by Indian Medical Council and Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Society of Gastroenterology in 2012.
